Front-End Engineer — Abschlusspullis.de (Shopware E-Commerce Platform)
As a Front-End Engineer, I contributed end-to-end to the creation and launch of Abschlusspullis.de, a custom Shopware-based e-commerce platform for personalized sweaters and graduation apparel. I was responsible for the complete front-end design and development, theme creation, and user experience optimization, ensuring a cohesive, responsive, and high-conversion online store.
Key Responsibilities
UI/UX Design & Theme Development
Designed and implemented a fully custom Shopware theme tailored to the brand’s visual identity and audience.
Translated design prototypes into pixel-perfect, responsive layouts using HTML5, Twig, SCSS, and modern JavaScript.
Ensured consistent branding and accessibility across all devices and browsers.
Plugin Development & Functional Optimization
Participated in the development of custom Shopware plugins to handle dynamic product customization, personalized orders, and workflow automations.
Optimized and extended existing Shopware core functionalities to improve load times, checkout flow, and configurator performance.
Collaborated with backend developers to integrate APIs and maintain seamless data synchronization.
Performance & Testing
Improved frontend performance metrics, optimizing images, assets, and caching strategies.
Conducted end-to-end testing and debugging for cross-browser consistency and smooth checkout experiences.
Go-Live & Maintenance
Assisted in deployment, QA validation, and live environment setup.
Provided post-launch support for design adjustments and plugin improvements based on customer feedback.
