Front-End Engineer — Bruno Banani (Shopware E-Commerce Platform)

As a Front-End Engineer, I led the UI/UX design and front-end development for BrunoBanani.com, a premium online store for men’s and women’s underwear and fashion. I was responsible for designing the store’s interface, implementing the custom Shopware theme, and optimizing user experience and site performance from prototype to production launch.

Key Responsibilities

• UI/UX Design & Implementation

  • Designed a fully custom Shopware theme that reflected the brand’s premium style and targeted customer base.

  • Transformed design concepts into responsive layouts using Twig, SCSS, and modern JavaScript.

  • Enhanced usability through intuitive navigation, refined product detail pages, and mobile-first design principles.

• Plugin Development & Feature Enhancement

  • Participated in building and extending Shopware plugins to support advanced product filtering, promotions, and personalized shopping experiences.

  • Worked closely with backend developers to integrate API-based dynamic content and improve checkout processes.

  • Optimized plugin loading and component reactivity for faster rendering and smoother user interactions.

• Performance & QA

  • Optimized front-end performance with lazy loading, caching strategies, and efficient asset management.

  • Conducted cross-browser testing and E2E validation to ensure a seamless user experience across all platforms.

• Go-Live & Maintenance

  • Oversaw deployment stages, collaborating with the QA and DevOps teams to ensure stable production delivery.

  • Provided post-launch adjustments for continuous UX and conversion improvements.
